Description

These Valentine’s Day Kitchen Sink Cookies are the perfect combination of sweet, salty, and crunchy!   • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup brown sugar, packed
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips
  • ½ cup crushed pretzels
  • ¼ cup M&M’s or other Valentine’s Day-themed candy
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
  • ½ cup mini marshmallows (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, crushed pretzels, candy, nuts, and marshmallows (if using).
  • Scoop dough by the tablespoon and place on the prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden and the centers are set.
  • Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
