Description

These Valentine Cookie Cups are the perfect sweet treat for Valentine’s Day! A soft, buttery cookie shell filled with creamy chocolate and decorated with heart-shaped sprinkles, making them the ideal dessert for any celebration of love.


Ingredients

  • 1 package sugar cookie dough (or homemade dough)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • Heart-shaped sprinkles (for decoration)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (optional for dusting)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease or line a mini muffin tin with paper liners.
  • Roll the cookie dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and press them into the muffin tin cups, ensuring they line the bottom and sides of each cup.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are golden. Allow the cookie cups to cool slightly before removing them from the tin.
  • For the filling: In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over low heat until it begins to simmer. Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips until melted and smooth. Add vanilla extract and stir.
  • Spoon the chocolate mixture into the center of each cookie cup, filling them halfway.
  • Decorate with heart-shaped sprinkles and a dusting of powdered sugar if desired.
  • Let the chocolate set before serving.
