- 4–6 chicken breasts
- 1 bottle Sweet Baby Ray’s barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix together the Sweet Baby Ray’s barbecue sauce, vinegar, red pepper flakes, brown sugar, and garlic powder.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Shred the chicken with two forks and stir it into the sauce.
- Serve the chicken on buns, rice, or as a main dish with your favorite sides.
Notes
- You can add more or less red pepper flakes depending on your heat preference.
- For an extra tangy flavor, increase the vinegar slightly.
