Description

This Smoothie Onctueux aux Fruits Rouges is a velvety, creamy blend of mixed berries that’s both refreshing and satisfying. It combines sweet, tangy fruits with yogurt for a smooth texture and is naturally sweetened with honey. Perfect for a nutritious breakfast, a quick snack, or a post-workout boost!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup mixed berries (such as strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries)
  • 1/2 banana (for added creaminess)
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (or any yogurt of choice)
  • 1/2 cup milk (or almond milk for a dairy-free option)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (or maple syrup for a vegan alternative)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Ice cubes (optional, for extra chill)

Instructions

  • Blend the ingredients: In a blender, add the mixed berries, banana, Greek yogurt, milk, honey, and vanilla extract (if using). If you prefer a colder smoothie, throw in a few ice cubes.
  • Blend until smooth: Blend everything on high speed until the mixture is creamy and smooth. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more milk to adjust the consistency.
  • Taste and adjust: Taste your smoothie and add more honey if you like it sweeter.
  • Serve: Pour the smoothie into glasses, and garnish with a few extra berries if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • For added nutrients, you can blend in some spinach or kale—your taste buds will hardly notice!
  • If you like a richer flavor, you can add a tablespoon of almond butter or peanut butter for an extra boost.
  • You can also substitute honey with agave syrup or leave it out for a naturally sugar-free option.
