Ingredients
Scale
- 4 large russet potatoes, peeled and cut into fries
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the potato fries in a large bowl and toss them with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Arrange the fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Depending on your air fryer’s size, you may need to do this in batches to avoid overcrowding.
- Air fry at 400°F for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the fries are golden and crispy.
- Once the fries are done, transfer them to a bowl and immediately toss them with grated parmesan cheese while they’re still hot.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra crispy fries, you can soak the cut potatoes in water for 30 minutes before cooking to remove excess starch, then dry them thoroughly before seasoning.
- Adjust the seasoning to your taste, adding more garlic or parmesan if desired.
- You can add a squeeze of lemon juice over the fries before serving for an extra burst of flavor.
