Description

This oven-roasted cauliflower is the perfect side dish that’s simple to make and full of flavor. The cauliflower florets are tossed in olive oil, butter, and seasonings, then roasted to golden perfection. It’s crispy, tender, and absolutely delicious!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium cauliflower, sliced into small florets or ½” thick steaks
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt (or to taste)
  • ¼ tsp ground paprika

 

  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper (or to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Cut the cauliflower into small florets or slice it into ½” thick steaks, depending on your preference.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, melted butter, garlic powder, salt, paprika, and black pepper.
  4. Add the cauliflower florets (or steaks) to the bowl and toss until they’re evenly coated with the oil and seasoning mixture.
  5. Spread the cauliflower in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  6. Roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cauliflower is golden brown and tender. You can toss halfway through roasting for even cooking.
  7. Serve warm as a delicious side dish!

Notes

  • You can sprinkle some grated Parmesan cheese on top during the last 5 minutes of roasting for an extra layer of flavor.
  • This recipe can also be adapted to use other seasonings like lemon zest, thyme, or rosemary for a different flavor profile.
