Description

These extra crispy Air Fryer French Fries are perfectly seasoned and make for a quick, healthier alternative to deep-fried fries. With just a little olive oil and seasoning, they come out golden and crispy every time, making them the ideal side dish or snack!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb russet potatoes (2 large or 3 medium potatoes)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt (or to taste)
  • ⅛ tsp ground black pepper (or to taste)
  • ⅛ tsp garlic powder

  • ⅛ tsp paprika

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Wash and peel the russet potatoes (optional), then cut them into evenly sized fries.
  • In a large bowl, toss the cut potatoes with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Make sure the fries are evenly coated.
  • Place the seasoned fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding to ensure they cook evenly and get crispy.
  • Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. The fries should be golden and crispy on the outside, tender on the inside.

  • Once done, remove the fries from the air fryer and serve immediately.

Notes

  • If you prefer thicker fries, increase the cooking time by a few minutes.
  • To make them even crispier, you can spray a light mist of cooking spray halfway through cooking.

  • You can adjust the seasoning to your liking—try adding cayenne pepper for a spicy kick or some Parmesan cheese for extra flavor.
