Description

A beautiful and festive pie with vibrant colors and a delicious combination of creamy filling and a flaky crust. Perfect for your Easter celebrations, this pie is both eye-catching and mouthwatering!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts (or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 package cream cheese (8 oz), softened
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup fruit preserves (such as raspberry or strawberry)

  • Food coloring (optional, for the swirl effect)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll out the pie crusts and line a 9-inch pie dish with one crust. Place the second crust on a parchment-lined surface and set it aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
  3. Gradually add the heavy cream and condensed milk, and mix until well combined.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and stir.
  5. If you want to add color to the filling, divide the mixture into small bowls and stir in different food coloring to create the swirl effect.
  6. Pour the colored mixture into the pie crust, alternating spoonfuls of each color to create a swirled effect.
  7. Use a knife or skewer to gently swirl the colors together.
  8. Place the second pie crust over the top and crimp the edges to seal.
  9. Cut a few slits in the top to allow steam to escape.
  10. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the crust is golden and the filling is set.
  11. Let the pie cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Use seasonal fruit preserves to add more flavor and color to the pie.

  • You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar.
