Ingredients

2 pounds beef stew meat (or beef tips)

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup low-sodium beef broth

3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons “Better Than Bouillon” beef base or 2 beef bouillon cubes

2.87 oz low-sodium brown gravy packets (or 1/2 cup cornstarch)
Instructions

Place the beef stew meat in the crockpot.

Season with salt and pepper, and add minced garlic.

Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.

Stir in the “Better Than Bouillon” beef base or dissolved bouillon cubes.

Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours until the beef is tender.

During the last 30 minutes of cooking, add the brown gravy packets or cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce.

Meanwhile, cook egg noodles according to package instructions.

Serve the beef mixture over the cooked noodles

For added flavor, consider browning the beef in a skillet before adding it to the crockpot.
