Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 8 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup beef broth

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  • Cook the Ground Beef: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove excess grease if needed.

  • Sauté Onion and Garlic: Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Cook for 2-3 minutes until softened and fragrant.

  • Make the Sauce: Pour in the beef broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in the heavy cream, paprika, and Parmesan cheese. Let it cook for another 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.

  • Combine: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated with the creamy sauce. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.

  • Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve immediately. Enjoy your creamy beef and bowtie pasta!

Notes

  • You can substitute the ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.

  • Add extra veggies like mushrooms or spinach to boost the flavor and nutrition.

  • For a spicier version, try adding a pinch of red pepper flakes.
