Description

These soft and chewy cookies are a breeze to make, requiring just four ingredients. The rich chocolate flavor and gooey chocolate chips make them a perfect treat for any occasion


Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 (15 oz) box chocolate cake mix

  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips (plus extra for topping)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

  2. Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, eggs, and chocolate cake mix. Stir until well combined.

  3. Add Chocolate Chips: Fold in the 3/4 cup of chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

  4. Shape the Cookies: Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

  5. Bake: Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the tops look set. Optionally, place a few additional chocolate chips on top of each cookie before baking.Just so Tasty

  6. Cool: Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a firmer cookie, bake closer to 15 minutes.

Feel free to substitute the chocolate chips with other mix-ins like white chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, or chopped candy bars.

Store fully cooled cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
