1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 (15 oz) box chocolate cake mix

3/4 cup chocolate chips (plus extra for topping)
Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, eggs, and chocolate cake mix. Stir until well combined.

Add Chocolate Chips: Fold in the 3/4 cup of chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

Shape the Cookies: Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Cool: Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For a firmer cookie, bake closer to 15 minutes.

Store fully cooled cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
