Description

This homemade version of the Caramel Brûlée Latte combines rich espresso, steamed milk, and a sweet caramel brulée sauce, topped with whipped cream and caramel bits for a festive touch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 shot espresso or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 2 tablespoons caramel sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla syrup
  • Whipped cream
  • Caramel bits or toffee bits for garnish

Instructions

  • Brew Coffee: Prepare a shot of espresso or brew a strong cup of coffee.
  • Steam Milk: In a saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat, whisking constantly until frothy and just beginning to boil.
  • Combine Flavors: Remove the milk from heat and stir in the caramel sauce and vanilla syrup until well combined.
  • Assemble Drink: Pour the flavored milk into the brewed coffee.
  • Garnish: Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with caramel bits or toffee bits.

Notes

  • For a less sweet version, adjust the amount of caramel sauce and vanilla syrup to taste.
  • To make your own caramel brulée sauce, combine 1 cup of granulated sugar, 1/4 cup of water, and 1/4 cup of heavy cream, cooking over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture thickens.
