Ingredients
- 12 slider rolls (Hawaiian rolls or any soft, sweet rolls)
- 1 lb deli ham, thinly sliced
- 12 slices Swiss cheese (or any preferred cheese)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp poppy seeds (optional)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
-
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
-
Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally without separating them, creating one large sandwich of rolls. Place the bottom half of the rolls in the prepared baking dish.
-
Layer the ham evenly on the bottom half of the rolls. Top with the Swiss cheese slices.
-
Place the top half of the rolls on top of the cheese, pressing down gently.
-
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, poppy seeds (if using), salt, and pepper.
-
Pour the butter mixture evenly over the top of the rolls, making sure each slider is well-coated.
-
Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the sliders are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
-
Remove from the oven, slice the sliders, and serve warm.
Notes
- You can substitute the Swiss cheese with other cheeses like cheddar, provolone, or gouda for different flavor combinations.
- Add pickles or a drizzle of honey mustard for extra flavor!
