Description

Crispy, spicy, and perfectly tender, these Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Wings are a healthier way to enjoy your favorite game-day snack. With a zesty buffalo sauce and a crispy finish, they’re sure to be a hit!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1012 chicken wings, separated into flats and drumettes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup buffalo wing sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter (optional, for extra richness)

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove any excess moisture.
  • In a large bowl, toss the wings with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  • Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to work in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  • Air fry the wings at 400°F for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden and crispy.
  • While the wings are cooking, melt the buffalo sauce and butter together in a small saucepan over low heat, or in the microwave for 30 seconds.
  • Once the wings are cooked, transfer them to a large bowl and pour the buffalo sauce over the top. Toss to coat the wings evenly in the sauce.
  • Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce and veggies!

Notes

  • If you like your wings extra crispy, air fry for an additional 3-5 minutes.
  • You can adjust the heat level of the buffalo sauce by adding more or less hot sauce or cayenne pepper.
  • Serve with a side of celery and ranch or blue cheese dressing for the perfect pairing.
